As much as I like to devour desserts, I am not the best at preparing them. Although that would help reduce some of the stress on my wallet! There, Mengtian was struck by the idea of using sound and visual effects to elevate expectations of taste build-up before the first bite reached the mouth. This resulted in the set of plates and cutlery connected to sensors to detect touch, which then trigger the appropriate notes to accompany the entire dining experience.
