4creative Announces New Hires | Advanced Television

Channel 4’s in-house creative agency, 4creative, has expanded its ranks with two new duos. Dan Warner and Andy Vasey join as creative director team from AMV BBDO, and Stuart Gittings and Reuben Dangoor, formerly of BBC Creative, enter as creative team.

The two new creative teams will report to Deputy Executive Creative Director Lambros Charalambous – and Warner and Vasey will work closely with Executive Creative Director Lynsey Atkin on projects across Channel 4’s slate.

Atkin said: “Hiring at 4creative is tricky work because it’s a rare creative team with the talent, the wit and the near-imperceptible-can’t-put-your-finger-on-4 that we brings out the contracts illico. I am thrilled that Dan and Andy, along with Stuart and Reuben have made our lives so much easier by having all of these qualities and more. Smart, funny, generous, and with books that elicit jealousy – I can’t wait to see what we can all do next.

Vasey added: “Like pretty much everyone in the creative industries around the world, we have long been fans of Channel 4 and 4creative. Channel 4’s mandate essentially means that, by law, its work must be bold, different, innovative and risky – who could turn down this opportunity? Were excited!”

Warner and Vasey joined AMV BBDO in 2014, where they recently worked on standout campaigns for Mars Petcare and Plenty torchon, both of which won multiple awards.

Gittings and Dangoor have worked together since 2019 and together created award-winning BBC work for the Winter Olympics, Dracula and This time with Alan Partridge.

Dangoor said: “We grew up on Channel 4 so we were very excited when the opportunity presented itself to work alongside an incredibly talented team on one of the UK’s most iconic brands.”
