The Asianet Television Awards 2022 were bestowed in a ceremony held recently at the Adlux Convention Center, Angamali, Ernakulam.
Several personalities from the world of cinema and socio-cultural circles were present for the occasion.
The event brought together a cross section of stars from the South Indian film and television industry and featured colorful programs performed by prominent Malayalam artists as well as a mix of Tollywood stars.
Ulakanayakan Kamal Hassan, Jayasurya, Mukesh, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Nikhila Vimal, Lakshmi Gopalaswami, Ramesh Pisharody, Hareesh Kanaran, Dharmajan, Vijay Babu, Nadirsha, Sudheer Karamana, Tini Tom, Neetha Pillai, Narain, Siju Wilson, Edavela Babu, Director Ranjith Shankar , Manikandan Achari, Thesni Khan, Paris Laxmi are some of the leading personalities in the garland world who attended the twinkling function.
Malayalam Cinema and Asianet honored Ulakanayakan Kamal Haasan as part of the 100th day celebration of “Vikram” film. Within this framework, a special Vikram segment was presented for a duration of 30 minutes and was also continued by the dance performance of the famous Bigg Boss Ramzan with more than 60 dancers.
Besides announcing and handing out the TV awards, Kamal Haasan honored Jayasuriya on this stage who completed 20 years in the film industry. Suraj Venjaramood received the multi-talented award.
Other film and TV stars such as Anu Sithara, Durga Krishnan, Kutty Akhil and Rajesh Hebbar performed the kitchen dance, contemporary dance, which captivated the audience.
