Realme launches convertible air conditioners in India, priced under Rs 30,000

Realme not only offers smartphones or laptops, but also meets other household needs. The company already offers washing machines and vacuum cleaners, and is now entering the field of air conditioners. The tech giant on Wednesday launched the TechLife range of convertible air conditioners in India.

These Realme air conditioners have the ability to change the cooling capacity depending on the number of people in the room. It also features inverter compressor technology, which the company claims can provide faster cooling as well as longer compressor life. Inverter compressor technology helps preserve compressor life and provides faster, more efficient and more precise cooling operation.

Realme convertible air conditioners start at a price of Rs 27,790 for the 1-ton model, while the price of the 1.5-ton model goes up to Rs 30,999. These are four-star models, but the company says it will offer a five-star 1.5-ton model priced at Rs 33,490. All of these air conditioners will be available for purchase on Flipkart. The exact date of the sale has not yet been disclosed.

Launch of Realme air conditioners: main features

One of the key aspects that differentiate Realme Techlife ACs is the ability to offer cooling at temperatures up to 55 degrees. The models also come with an automatic cleaning system, which the company claims protects the device from moisture, dust, and mold. These machines offer modes such as – Dry, Eco and three standbys.

These air conditioners come with 4-in-1 cooling for greater energy savings. The company claims that the cooling capacity can be changed between 40%, 60%, 80% and 110%. Other features include Blue Fin technology, auto cleaning function, silent operations, stabilizerless operations. The automatic cleaning function works for 30 seconds when the machine is off and dries the water droplets with a powerful jet of air. Blue Fin technology also provides effective coil protection against water droplets, salt and acid deposits.

This is the first time that Realme has launched air conditioners in the country. The company already offers a range of smart home appliances. Realme recently unveiled a new range of semi-automatic washing machines featuring antibacterial silver ion washing technology, which the company claims reduces exposure to infections. As a reminder, the tech giant announced the Realme TechLife handheld vacuum cleaner, robot vacuum cleaner and air purifier in India last year.
