Samsung custom refrigerators allow you to customize the color of your device – but would you like to?

How many times have you wished the major appliances in your home were a color other than white, black, or silver?

As far as Samsung can lead us to believe, this happens most often, as the brand offers its range of bespoke refrigerators in the US and UK.

The Custom refrigerators, which were first unveiled as a concept at IFA 2019, are available as one-door or two-door bottom-mount refrigerators and freezers (although in the United States a flexible option to four doors is also available).

Appliance doors come in over 20 different colors and seven finishes, although not all are available in all locations. For example, in the United States a metallic finish is available in gold, navy blue and black, while in Europe finishes such as glass are available in a range of colors from bold primary tones to pastel hues.

Not just refrigerators …

In the US, Samsung is also expanding the Bespoke line to cover other kitchen appliances, including dishwashers and microwaves, which will be available in the same black, navy and pink tones so you can make sure everything in your kitchen is in good repair. – keep with your desired color scheme.

Samsung has also unveiled a number of new small home appliances (although Samsung calls them lifestyle devices) that will launch later in 2021. These include a new vacuum cleaner, robot vacuum and the AirDresser, which was also showcased as a concept at IFA 2019, and is a steam closet for refreshing clothing similar to the LG Styler. .

Notice: Colorful fridges are not just for this year …

There’s no denying that Samsung’s bespoke fridges are extremely stylish, and being able to opt for a device in a shade and finish that isn’t the norm certainly catches my creative eye.

Samsung isn’t the only brand to offer the option of choosing different colors and finishes for your major appliances, as LG launched its Furniture Concept line of appliances at THOSE this year, which also comes in a range of colors and finishes.

However, when it comes to major appliances, we will keep them for a long time – refrigerators last around 12 years depending on the United States Department of Energy. So, even if you love the color now, will you still feel the same in over a decade?

Especially since when it comes to interior design, some colors can be fashionable one minute, and therefore out of fashion the next.

Think of the avocado green bathroom suites favored in the 1980s, the bold, complementary colors that were all the rage in the 1990s (blue and yellow bedrooms?), Or the love for the magnolia that we saw in them. 2000s – if you’ve seen them in a house now, they were basically screaming the exact date you started questioning your own sense of style.

Samsung says the front panels on custom-built refrigerators can be changed if you’re fed up with the color, although they haven’t offered any pricing details, so we can’t imagine it will be particularly affordable.

While repainting your walls or buying new throw pillows can be viable if you want to make sure your home’s interior stays up to date, buying new panels to change the color of your major appliances because the tone is outdated is. , in my opinion. eyes, one step too far.
