Studio Ramsay Global will be a game-changer for food television
Studio Ramsay Global, Fox Entertainment and Gordon Ramsay production company could become the new food television juggernaut that will forever change this type of lifestyle programming in the near future. Building on the success of Hell’s Kitchen, MasterChef, and even 24 Hours to Hell and Back, the collaboration not only seeks to build on those fiery moments behind the collar, but opens the door to a lifestyle brand in the world. unlimited potential.
When watching food television, the amount of programming can fill up over 24 hours a day. While the Food Network may have been the first to explore putting chefs at the forefront of the screen as a teacher and host, its success has spurred all types of food-focused programming. From competitions to teaching to lifestyle, the classic idea of cooking as a gathering place has taken on global meaning.
In the recent announcement, this new entity will focus on intellectual property rights and resources in the global cuisine and lifestyle programs space. Given this general statement, it seems likely that this brand is more than just screen entertainment. It might be entirely possible to see integration into people’s homes, such as with kitchen essentials, food platforms and more.
Ramsay said. “We will create food and lifestyle ideas, but also develop an incredible new talent pool from food, beverage and industry leaders to create our own branch of culinary talent.” This statement leads people to believe that other chefs who have been featured on Ramsay’s shows might have a space to share their stories. Why couldn’t Aaron Sanchez have his own series or there wouldn’t be a follow-up series on former Hell’s Kitchen contestants?
Considering the number of chefs who have appeared on Ramsay’s shows, the long list of culinary talent is vast. In addition, this company could be a strong vehicle for showcasing emerging talents in the food industry. Sometimes it’s better to be the leader than the follower.
For now, the previously filmed seasons of Hell’s Kitchen Young Guns and MasterChef Legends will satisfy that craving for more of Gordon Ramsay. As Next Level Chef is the first production under this umbrella, it will be interesting to see if this series offers some insight into the direction of this new entity.
